Emily is a soloist and avid chamber musician. She is an original core member of the Boston-based Lorelei Ensemble, a nine-voiced female chamber group that advances the art form of the women's vocal ensemble through passionate, engaging artistry and creative collaboration. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Marsh Chapel Collegium among others. While living in Boston, Emily was a soprano Choral Scholar with Boston University’s Marsh Chapel Choir, which performs weekly services for audiences throughout New England and around the globe via WBUR.

Emily moved to beautiful northern Michigan in 2015 to work at Interlochen Center for the Arts. A lover of chamber music and imaginative programming, Emily is a frequent collaborator with Manitou Winds.

In addition to her work as a musician, Emily is also a non-profit and arts management professional specializing in development, campaign planning, community outreach, volunteer leadership, and donor & alumni relations for arts and public media organizations.

Emily earned the Master of Science in Arts Administration degree with a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Boston University, the Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Boston University, and the Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Samford University. She also completed a special course of study in vocal performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England.
